ABOUT US
Two regular joes with a passion for tabletop games and grand aspirations. The first step in our journey finds us in Tywyn, a quaint town along the Cambrian Coastline in Wales, UK.
With Cambrian Games, we hope to introduce new people into the hobby, provide a space for people to socialise, enjoy themselves and learn new things through play.

Roleplaying Games tap into primal man - a creature full of imagination and wonder.
Our ancestors painted stories on walls of their encounters with great beasts. Generations later, fables were shared around campfires, stories for teaching and warning, passed down through oral tradition. Generations later again, they wrote epic tales of gods and mortals to explain the world around them.
Now, we tell stories with dice and friends around a table. The method is different, but that desire for expression, creativity and storytelling remains.
Roleplaying Games are a medium unlike any-other, and more people should play them. They build confidence, creativity, social skills, and practical skills (literacy, numeracy).
And all the while it brings entertainment and creates life-long stories.

Wargaming, a place where everyone is the Commander of their own armies, a Tactician making decisions from battlefield information that is ever-changing, a Strategist formulating plans for all potential situations.
What has always fascinated me isn't simply winning—it's the challenge of command. Reading the battlefield, anticipating an opponent's next move, adapting when carefully laid plans fall apart, and making split-second tactical decisions to achieve victory with whatever forces remain. Every battle tells a different story, and no two games are ever the same.
A lifelong passion for Real Time Strategy video games naturally led me into tabletop wargaming, where every dice roll, manoeuvre, and decision creates unforgettable moments shared with friends around the table.
For me, wargaming is the perfect blend of strategy, creativity, history, and community.
As Sun Tzu wrote in The Art of War: "In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity." That philosophy perfectly captures what I love about wargaming—leading like a Commander, thinking like a Tactician and planning like a Strategist.
